Alana Chirino makes indie pop that feels equal parts retro and cinematic — like a diary she lets the world read, with strong hooks and a sense of humor. The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter writes songs that sound immediately familiar but land somewhere unexpected. 

Her latest single ‘Girlfriend’ sounds like driving down the PCH at golden hour with the windows down — warm and sun-drenched with a voice that's equal parts soulful and coy. 

Over the past year Alana completed a 32-week songwriting challenge, writing and posting one original song every week and documenting her creative process in real time. The result is a full catalog of new material ready to be recorded and released. 

Although she's been performing and making music since she was 12 years old,  she feels like she's just getting started. A self-proclaimed late bloomer, if you will.
